Mastering is a delicate process which transforms a combination of songs into one coherent album. It ensures that your music sounds great on any sound system. Final adjustments are made to get a pro sound and level which can compete with commercial CD's. All necessary edits and coding is done in order to get a perfect CD for reproduction. There's a good reason why all professional CD's are mastered!

We have a neutral sound system and a fresh pair of ears. We listen to the music as a whole and make judgments based on years of experience.

During the mixing stage you do everything in your power to translate your songs into the best possible recording. During mastering we do everything in our power to make sure it translates just as well when you place it next to commercial CDs in your genre. Two different goals and working methods which complement each other.

Each song get's all the attention it needs. This can include EQ'ing, (multi band) compression, limiting, stereo widening (or narrowing), analog character, fade in/outs, PQ-code editing, ISRC-code editing, pauses and the flow of the record, remove clicks and noises, sample rate conversion, Red Book verification, creating high-quality pre-master CD for replication, etc.

Hence the name, we are able to add analog character to (digital) recordings. This enables us to add richness, warmth and character not available in any other way and is a perfect way to warm up digital recordings.
